As Team Lead of Facilities, Sylvia oversees workplace operations for MCAP’s Toronto office while supporting branches nationwide. Sylvia is quick to recognize that Facilities is a team effort. From day-to-day workplace support to larger office initiatives, the Facilities team works collaboratively to keep MCAP’s spaces safe, functional, and welcoming. From coordinating with property management and vendors to managing workplace security, access, and supporting budgeting and office optimization projects, Sylvia’s role touches many aspects of the business. She also contributes to health and safety initiatives and employee events, helping create a positive and engaging workplace experience.

Sylvia’s journey at MCAP reflects a strong commitment to learning and growth. She joined the organization in 2022 as a contract Facilities Associate and transitioned to a full-time employee just a few months later.
Since then, she has progressed through multiple roles, including Senior Facilities Associate and Facilities Coordinator, before being promoted to Team Lead, Facilities in 2024.
