Antonella has a unique role in that it touches every area of the business, with the overarching goal of building and sustaining a high-performance culture and engaged workforce. She is responsible for HR governance and compliance, employee relations, workforce and talent planning, learning and a number of initiatives and programs.

In 2010, Antonella joined MCAP as an HR Administrator. “Two years later I became the HR Specialist and was given the opportunity to lead special projects and initiatives that helped me learn about MCAP and the mortgage industry as a whole,” she explains. Since her start with the company 15 years ago, Antonella has held various roles such as HR Manager, where she led a team for the first time, Senior Manager, and now, Associate Director.
Reflecting on her career journey, Antonella shares, “The relationships I've built with our employees are my greatest achievement. Everyone I have worked with has taught me valuable lessons, and I continue to learn from them every day.”
Using Resources to Your Advantage
As an HR professional, Antonella knows first-hand the benefits of using workplace resources to your advantage. To keep her knowledge of HR relevant, she attends several webinars and workshops a year. Another resource she taps into often is the people she works with. “I learn from our senior leaders in both HR and the business,” she shares. “This enhances my business knowledge, which in turn allows me to better support our employees.”
