![]() David Boyle is the Vice President of Origination for the CMG team. David joined MCAP in 2013, and is responsible for leading and managing the origination team in addition to developing new investor programs to support the targeted growth of CMG. In his previous role David was responsible for all aspects of investment management and credit policy at MCAP CMG. In addition to leading the underwriting team, David was also responsible for national credit adjudication. David has over 19 years’ experience in the financial services industry including commercial term, corporate cash-flow and development finance across a variety of sectors and locations. Prior to joining MCAP, David worked with three of the largest financial institutions in Ireland. In his various roles, he has originated, adjudicated and managed a diverse portfolio of loans in Europe and the U.S. David holds an MBA from Bangor University (UK), in addition to a multitude of professional banking and finance qualifications awarded by the Institute of Bankers in Ireland and the Dublin Institute of Technology. David believes in creating an environment of continued service excellence at MCAP, with a proven track record of delivering promptly and professionally. ![]() Vito Campisi is a Senior Director in MCAP’s Commercial Mortgages Group. He joined MCAP in 2011 after a 33 year career with CMHC. Vito is responsible for originating, structuring and closing commercial mortgages with emphasis on CMHC mortgage insured products that include: multi-family rental, retirement homes, not-for-profit housing and student housing. During his time at CMHC, Vito held various management positions in underwriting, finance, real estate, mortgage default management, non-profit housing delivery and housing agreements administration. Most notably, he managed the Ontario Region Multifamily and Homeowner Underwriting Departments from 1997 to 2011. ![]() Derek Read joined MCAP in 2010 and is a Senior Director in MCAP’s Commercial Mortgages Group. Derek focuses on managing an extensive network of mortgage brokers and CMHC approved correspondents. Derek has over 30 years of experience in real estate finance. His career has included positions in both Canadian and American banks, and trust companies. ![]() Leo St. Germain is a Senior Director in the Commercial Mortgages Group. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing commercial real estate debt transactions including CMHC insured financing for a variety of real estate owners, investors, developers, brokers, and not-for-profit organizations. Leo was successful in having MCAP selected to be one of two lenders by the Province of Ontario for its Wave 1 Affordable Housing Program. Leo has over 25 years of experience in construction and commercial term real estate finance. Prior to joining MCAP in 1991, he held management positions with a Schedule 1 bank in corporate and real estate finance followed by a life company owned real estate finance subsidiary. His tenure with MCAP included several years with a mortgage brokerage subsidiary. Leo believes knowledge, integrity, honesty, accountability, and trust are the keys to being successful in this profession. Leo holds an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School Of Management. Leo is an avid road bike racer, and spent several years fundraising for the Heart and Stroke Foundation principally through its annual Ride for Heart held in Toronto. ![]() Jacques Pelletier is a Director of MCAP’s Commercial Mortgages Group in the Montreal office. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing commercial real estate debt transactions for CMG’s investor accounts. Jacques joined MCAP in January 2018 to develop the commercial business line in the province of Quebec. He has over 30 years’ experience covering many facets of the commercial real estate industry. Most recently, Jacques retired after 28 years with CMHC where he has held different roles with increased responsibilities. In the last 5 years at CMHC, Jacques worked as a regional manager of multi-unit underwriting, where he lead a team of 40 employees responsible for loan approval for the Quebec Region. Jacques has developed extensive knowledge on the products and policies of mortgage loan insurance, CMHC underwriting practices and risk tolerance levels. Jacques has also been a lecturer at the École des Hautes Études Commerciaux, where he taught macroeconomics for 15 years. Jacques holds a M.A. in Economics from Queens University; he is fully bilingual and works out of MCAP’s Montreal Office. ![]() Rock Wang is a Director in MCAP’s Commercial Mortgages Group, joining the company in 2014. Rock is responsible for generating CMHC insured commercial mortgages through developing, maintaining and managing relationships with borrowers, brokers, investors and other market participants. Prior to joining MCAP, Rock worked for several years at CMHC and has expertise working in the affordable housing sector, default management and underwriting. While at CMHC, Rock held various roles with increasing responsibility; most recently, Rock worked as a multi-residential underwriter. ![]() TJ Lee is a Director of MCAP’s Commercial Mortgages Group in the Calgary office. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing commercial mortgages with emphasis on CMHC insured mortgage products. TJ has over 30 years of experience in real estate, financing and mortgage experience gained primarily with CMHC. Having held the position of Regional Manager/Director of Underwriting and Real Estate Default Management for over 15 years, and holding various positions at CMHC spanning over 25 years, TJ was responsible for managing and overseeing the real estate mortgage insurance operations in the Prairies and Territories Region- the largest geographical region in the country. In addition to annually overseeing multi-billion dollars of mortgage insurance and underwriting for both homeownership and multi-residential real estate, TJ’s other responsibilities included the management and oversight of Real Estate Default Management and properties in distress. TJ holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Winnipeg and holds professional designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM), and Certified Financial Administration (CFAdmin), as well as memberships in Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC) and RECA. With his wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience in Real Estate Financing and mortgage insurance, TJ has participated and presented on numerous occasions to various panels and sessions. ![]() Jordan Forfar is an Associate Director, Commercial Mortgages on the Origination team in MCAP’s Toronto office. In this role he is responsible for client/broker acquisitions, relationship and credit management processes, along with critically assessing loan applications and structuring both conventional and CMHC-insured commercial loans. Jordan joined MCAP in 2015 holding roles in the Residential and Insurance & Strategic Initiatives groups prior to transitioning to the Commercial Mortgages Group in 2016. Jordan is currently a Level III candidate in the CFA Program and was an Academic All-Canadian student-athlete at York University where he graduated with an Honours B.Comm degree specializing in Finance while playing on the varsity hockey team. 400-200 King Street West |
