When MCAP homeowner, Wade, found out he was the winner of our Property Tax for a Year prize, he was elated! “I have never won anything before and to win something so substantial was very exciting,” he shared. As the sole income provider for his family of four, the property tax prize was a big help for Wade and his loved ones.
“It can be hard to keep up with the increasing cost of everything. This win goes a long way for us and makes a real difference in our standard of living,” he explained. “I will use the winnings towards providing opportunities for my kids that I may not have been able to afford otherwise.”
$3,000 Community GiveBack Package Winner Andrea M.
After being with MCAP since 2020, homeowner Andre was very excited to win the Community GiveBack Package. This prize gives winners the chance to donate $1,500 to a charity of their choice and they take home a $1,500 Visa gift card – it’s a win-win! “I specifically chose a charity in our small community of Summerland that I think is very deserving of the $1,500,” Andrea told us.
Andrea put her $1,500 to good use as well. Her children are active in extracurricular activities like competitive dance and rep hockey. “Any extra money we have goes to them for their development,” Andrea shared.
“This prize helps us to pay for some of the expenses for the trips we have coming up. The expenses often come in fast in September and October, so this is a big help right now!”
