Executive Biographies

	Derek Norton President and CEO, MCAP Commercial LP As the CEO, Derek provides strategic and operational leadership to the entire MCAP enterprise. His hands-on management style and broad industry experience in direct real estate finance give him clear insight into enterprise operations, opportunities and challenges. This allows him to be a very effective bridge between management and the Board of Directors. Derek has been with MCAP and predecessor companies since 1993.
	Steve Maker CEO, MCAP Service and President, Residential Mortgages & Leasing Steve heads up MCAP’s single family mortgage and equipment financing lines of business. He is responsible for all of the company’s operations in the origination and servicing of single family mortgages and equipment leases. As a chartered accountant formerly in private practice specializing in financial institutions, Steve brings unique expertise in financial management to the company’s operations. He has been with MCAP and its predecessors since 1989.
	Ron Swift President, MCAP Service Corporation Ron is the President for MCAP's residential mortgage origination and servicing business. He is responsible for MCAP's retail product development, broker channel sales and mortgage origination, mortgage servicing and subservicing. As a former mortgage broker, Ron brings an very thorough knowledge of the retail mortgage market to MCAP's operations. He has been with MCAP and predecessors since 1994.
	Lorne Jenkins CFO, MCAP Service Corporation, and EVP, Corporate Services Lorne is the company’s Chief Financial Officer and has responsibility for enterprise-wide corporate services. Having extensive experience in many aspects of the financial services industry in Canada, Lorne is responsible for MCAP’s financial reporting, information technology, human resources and marketing and communications. Lorne has been with MCAP and predecessor companies since 1993.
	Phil Asseff EVP, Secondary and Capital Markets Phil heads up the company’s Secondary and Capital Markets group and is responsible for all capital market activities. Phil’s Secondary and Capital Markets group provides relationship management, portfolio reporting and analysis, remittances and valuations to investors in MCAP originated assets. His capital markets group oversees securitization programs, sales and trading of MCAP’s originated assets. Phil has been with MCAP and its predecessors since 1993.
	André Charest EVP, Investment Banking and Strategic Relationships André is responsible for managing and enhancing MCAP’s key strategic relationship with Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and its various affiliates who have equity ownership and investor relationships with MCAP. His focus is on ensuring that MCAP provides new real estate investment opportunities to la Caisse and on building new ways in which both entities can maximize the respective benefits of their key relationship with each other. Andre was with CDP Capital for 12 years prior to joining MCAP in 2004.
	Mark Aldridge Chief Financial Officer and EVP, MCAP Commercial LP Mark is the company's Chief Financial Officer and has responsibility for all of MCAP's financial affairs. This includes ensuring that financial controls are in place to safeguard the assets of MCAP and our clients as well as ensuring strict compliance with regulatory financial reporting requirements and prudent corporate governance. In addition, Mark advises the Executive Management Committee and the Board of Directors on MCAP's financial affairs and results and he with supports the CEO on strategic initiatives including acquisitions, divestitures and their impact on our corporate structure. Mark spent several years in Public Accounting before joining MCAP in 2001.
	Eugene Basolini President and Chief Operating Officer, MCAP Leasing Eugene heads up MCAP's equipment financing division. He joined MCAP Leasing in 1992 as Vice-President, Vendor Services Operations, and assumed marketing responsibility in 1993. Eugene was named Chief Operating Officer in 1994, assuming overall responsibility for all operational departments and issues and was named President of MCAP Leasing in 1995. Eugene has been in the leasing industry since 1981.
